Parsi Embroidered Sari

The Chinese basket of plenty placed within an Indian ambi or paisley is the primary motif on the sari pallav of this purple gara. The basket, like the ambi, is an auspicious sign and would stand out dramatically in the Parsi Gujarati method of wearing a right handed or seedha hath pallav.
