Division directors Frank T. Shutt (Chemistry) and Charles E. Saunders (Cereals) were camera enthusiasts, and many of their photographs have survived in the form of Magic Lantern slides. They and their staff produced hundreds of individual glass plates showcasing their work, which were used for lectures and presentations.
