In this panorama, taken from Pelados – a small elevation located on the banks of the Vaza-Barris river, south of Canudos – the main nucleus of the village can be seen, where the Santo Antônio Church, on the right, and the Bom Church stand out. Jesus, on the left, both located at the ends of the main square. There is also the dry bed of the Vaza-Barris river, at the height of the Vale das Quixabeiras – trees with small leaves and thorns, common in the caatinga, seen to the right of the church of Santo Antônio.
