Participants Dressed as Mythological Characters

Holi is a popular, traditional Hindu festival. In Goa, it is celebrated as the Shigmo Festival, which starts off with a procession, prayer services at the temple and village prayer halls and a lot of music and dancing. Participants prepare for the parade by dressing up and preparing performances.
