Patones de Arriba

Located northeast of Madrid, Patones de Arriba is a picturesque village of black slate architecture, which was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the category of Historic Site in 1999. Today it retains its rural charm, with cobblestone streets, slate houses and a natural environment ideal for hiking, making it one of the most beautiful and visited destinations in the region.
