The work room of the apartment belonging to the Baroness Pauline de Rothschild (nee Pauline Fairfax Potter), located on the rue Mechain, Paris. Two chairs by Jacob stand on top of the old blue-and creme Spanish carpet. A wooden plank trimmed in polished silver serves as a writing shelf on the left wall; on it are two Toledo collages and images clipped from magazines.
