Cross Stitching acts as a bridge financing tool to help members earn an income for capital to invest in other small businesses. "My name is Adisa. I am a young lady living with disability. It took me two months to complete this peacock piece. By the time I did this piece, I already knew how to work the stitches and I was fast at it in order to meet deadlines so it was a good time for me. I really enjoyed this piece. With what I was paid I spent the money as capital for a small business I began while still in school; making and selling beadwork. I am grateful that I have different sources of income I am not fearful of what the future holds."
