Pelayos was a magazine aimed at young people. It was used to spread propaganda and the principles of General Franco's regime. Those aimed at boys were known as pelayos, while margaritas were published for girls. As shown in this example, young people's magazines were loaded with political weight and became a vehicle for the ideologization of children and young people.
