Detail of an ornately carved Gothic stone canopy within a cathedral. The canopy features a seated figure on a throne at the apex. Two small statues of figures draped in robes are placed on small ledges on either side of the seated figure. The edges of the canopy are adorned with sculptures of fruit and vines, which culminate to form a spire above the seated figure.
