Obviously, the miners going to their shift took with them all the necessary everyday items. From time to time, while penetrating or cleaning workings, fragments of them can be found, which are traces of the presence of miners in each area. However, it is rare to obtain an item used by a miner in such good condition as the presented mug. There is no information on who the item might have belonged to. Undoubtedly, it was left by a miner in the course of work. in the often poorly lit underground, it was easy to leave small items that were used every day. For example, fragments of pipes (despite the ban
on smoking underground) or elements of clothing were found on mine routes. it is worth mentioning that due to the nature of the work in the mine, the items that the miners took with them were very simple — even basic. Various items that used to belong to miners were found in mine corridors. These were items of clothing, footwear, pocket knives - bats or their fragments, spoons, bottles, enamel mug, as well as fragments of pipes, such as mouthpieces or decorative heads
