A small sized peti particularly used to store money and administrative items in a merchant establishment is called a galla peti. This galla peti was recorded in a shop in Rewari city and was used by the merchant to keep petty cash along with vouchers and account books. The top surface is used to place books to write on, and one would sit on a gaadi masnad (floor seat) while doing so.
