“Conflict around social justice occurs because people don’t take time to hear what those on the opposite side are saying – we have to recognise that each of us is molded and influenced by our personal experiences. Conflict usually arises when discussing diversity because the framing around the issues is usually divisive unto itself. When it comes to addressing white privilege for example, a relational approach looks deeper and facilitates conversations on unrequested benefits and privilege by virtue of skin color, recognising that, fundamentally, no human being is born wanting to be a victim or victimizer. People then become more curious, allowing conversation to open and unfold.”

Louise Phipps Senft builds bridges wherever they are needed: between people, different philosophies, and conflicting needs. She empowers the innate capacity of each human being, even through moments of conflict or crisis. After 28 years guiding thousands of clients to transformative insights, remarkable solutions, and more fulfilled lives through her mediation firm, Baltimore Mediation, Louise remains a trailblazer more than ever.

Through her podcast, Blink of an Eye, she extends the applications of her work into healthcare and medical practice. Her new non-profit, the Integrative Center for Trauma Healing, Advocacy, & Transformation, brings both hope and action to millions of people impacted by trauma and the families and communities surrounding them. Her best-selling book, Being Relational, brings the secrets of 28 years of relational mediation into families, individuals, board rooms, and communities, transforming the lives, communities, and industries of 1000s across the globe.
