Conflict usually arises when discussing diversity because the framing around the issues is usually divisive unto itself. When it comes to addressing white privilege for example, a relational approach looks deeper and facilitates conversations on unrequested benefits and privilege by virtue of skin color, recognising that, fundamentally, no human being is born wanting to be a victim or victimizer. People then become more curious, allowing conversation to open and unfold.”
