The initial phase of the Aipan-style painting, the painting depicts how rapid urbanization has taken away our culture and rural identity. The villages are shrinking and cities are expanding. People are migrating from villages to cities in search of livelihood and in this process we have lost our folklore.

  • Project: "Kahaani" is one of the world's first movement of curating stories and impacting lives by painting culture and history on the walls of villages. Through this first phase of the project, "Kahaani" focuses on reviving the vanishing folklore of the Jaunsar community. Artist from India and abroad painted the walls of houses and a school of Tauli Bhud village in Jaunsar.
