The Turing Bombe tried out all of the Enigma's settings at 60 rotations per minute. Theoretically, a bombe would need a whole day to find the Enigma code. However, the British only needed 2 hours, as they used more than 200 bombes. On peak days, 18,000 messages were decrypted.
