Photograph of an artistic work "The girl of the seal or the lady of the seal" by José María Eguren (Lima, 1874-1942). This pciture is included in the album of photographic miniatures of the aforementioned author from the archives of the National Library of Peru.
Eguren was a multifaceted artist. His production includes a series of small-format plastic artworks using the technique of painting in oil, watercolor, charcoal and pencil on paper. His work is intimate and poetic, inspired by the natural environment, the same one that inhabits with dreamlike characters. His technique demonstrates a good handling of details, although he also experiments with loose brushstrokes and free finishes.
