The three antechambers led to the Baroque audience hall, or Throne Room, the most important of this series of halls. It features a baldachin decorated with the combined coats of arms of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, or the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, as well as of the Vasa dynasty and the Kingdom of Sweden which the Vasas ruled (cartouches created by the artists Arvydas and Regina Každailis). On the podium under the baldachin stands an early Baroque armchair - a throne symbolizing the state's sovereignty and the supreme ruler, the status of the city as the capital.

In the hall that was located here in the first half of the 17th century, rulers of Lithuania and Poland of the Vasa dynasty would ceremonially receive their most honored guests. The recreated interior decor of the Throne Room is early Baroque in style. The dark red stone portals and the impressive fireplace with the coat of arms of the Vasa dynasty have been reconstructed based on finds and analogies (the Wawel Royal Castle, for example). The fireplace design is by Rasa Abramauskienė (Castle research Centre Lietuvos pilys, National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania), while the heraldic composition was created by sculptor Rokas Naujalis (from the company Rūpintojėlis). The heraldic stained-glass windows, based on finds and historical analogues, were created by stained-glass artist Edita Radvilavičiūtė-Utarienė and her husband Almantas.
The hall‘s stone flooring is the most elaborate in the palace. It has been created based on authentic finds made of Swedish sandstone. The plafond ceiling is typical of early Baroque. The framed spaces will be filled in with painted compositions. One of the potential themes is the recapture of Smolensk in 1611. This campaign was planned in the Vilnius palace and later was commemorated here amid grand celebrations and lauded by the Vasas as a major military victory. The plafond ceiling‘s frame drawing was created by architects from the Institute of Design and Restoration (interior design team leader Vida Povilauskaitė). The walls of the Baroque audience hall in the future will be covered with drapery woven using early 17th-century examples.
Highly valuable Mannerist and early Baroque style furniture, such as a cabinet made in the workshop of one of the French king‘s master craftsmen and beautiful Italian chests (cassoni) decorated with carvings, inlays, and gilt, are on display here. Also on display are two of the most treasured Flemish tapestries from the set The Story of Ulysses, dating to the second half of the 16th century. A tapestry set with this theme was owned by the Vasas. The tapestry Wedding Celebration of Alexander the Great and Stateira (from the set The Story of Alexander the Great) and the coronation portrait of Ladislaus Vasa (1632-1648) are also on display.
