These pages from the book Vertebrates I (mammals, reptiles and fish) feature an illustration by Sara Cabral Ferreira (1871-1926), an artist at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. When she was hired in 1919, Sara Ferreira became the illustrator of Augusto Nobre's books due to her talent, detail and artistic vision.
