Photograph of the surroundings of the Park of the Reserve included in the album of photographic miniatures by José María Eguren from the archives of the National Library of Peru.
It was built between 1926 and 1929, project devised within the management of the peruvian president Augusto B. Leguía in honor and memory of the Reserve Battalion that blew itself up during the Battle of Miraflores, in the War of the Pacific (1879-1883). It was designed in a space of 16 hectares, including a set of monumental constructions where artistic styles with neoclassical and neo-peruvian forms were appreciated.
