Zoila Aurora Caceres Moreno (Lima, 1877 - Madrid, 1958) was a Peruvian writer and journalist, considered as a precursor of the feminine suffrage movement in Peru. She founded feminist political organizations, as well as supported the labor movement. She wrote in newspapers and magazines, becoming a renowned chronicler. She also published several titles, such as “Mujeres de ayer y hoy” and “La Campaña de la Breña. Memorias del mariscal del Peru”. Currently, her collection of letters, minutes of her political participation, newspaper clippings and various drafts by the writer, are kept by the National Library of Peru.
