The still shows the setting of a police station featuring Govind (Rajesh Khanna), the
inspector (Manvendra Chitnis) and another constable. In the frame, Goving is standing
towards the left, dressed in a shirt and trousers. He looks troubled, worried and lost in
thought, with his hands held close to each other. The inspector is present towards the
extreme right in the background. He is bent forward, with one leg resting on one end of
a bench. His right hand has a cigarette and is stretched out, pointing in the direction of
Govind. There are shelves in the background on which a paper reading 'MAHIM 1955'
is present. On the top, there is another paper reading 'MAHIM 1991' stuck on the shelf.
Towards the extreme left in the background, a police constable is peeping and looking
at Govind.
On the bottom border, the credits of the film are printed in the following manner. From the
topm first comes 'Chetan Anand's', next line; 'AAKHRI KHAT', next line; 'A Himalaya
