The still shows a set and characters fashioned according to Chinese aesthetics. The background shows traditional Chinese structures. In the foreground, there are five female characters wearing dresses, hair tied in buns and eyebrows directed upwards. All of them are carrying fans. Four of them are sitting one after another and the fifth one is standing. She is bent forward, holding the fan right in front of her while holding her right leg up. There is a male character next to the women, who is dressed in a robe. He is holding a gong in his right hand and a sickle shaped tool in his left hand. There are four other female characters sitting towards the right of the frame, in the same arrangement as the ones on the left.
On the bottom border, starting from the left, first comes 'RATAN picture's' and under this text is an illustration of a snake charmer's flute, a skull and a bone. Next to this is the name of the film 'Madari' (English). Right under the name of the film, from the left, first comes 'PRODUCED BY RATAN', next to this is 'SPECIAL EFFECTS', next line;'& DIRECTION'. This is followed by 'BABUBHAI MISTRY'. Next to this is 'MUSIC', followed by 'KALYANJI ANANDJI'. In the end is the name of the film in Devnagri script. On the extreme right of the bottom border, next to the name of the film in English, there is an illustration of two dancing girls, a curtain and a structure.
