Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Pardes' (Foreign land-check), released in the year 1950.
The still shows a portrait of the two female leads in the film, Chanda (Madhubala) and Radha (Shakuntala). In the frame both the characters are laying on a stack of hay. Radha is laying stomach-faced with her eyes directed towards the left and a smile on her face. Chanda is resting on top of her a curious expression and a slight smile on her face. On the bottom border of the still is a centrally aligned black rectangular shape over which the name of the production company is printed, reading 'ALL INDIA PICTURES' and next to it is the name of the film 'PARDES'.
