Photograph by Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torres (Trujillo, Peru. 1895 – 1979) that is part of the album of photographic miniatures by José María Eguren, in the funds of the National Library of Peru.
Haya de la Torre was an important and active Peruvian politician. It was part of the Trujillo intellectual nucleus known initially as Bohemia de Trujillo, and later as Grupo Norte. In 1924, he founded the American Popular Revolutionary Alliance (APRA) in Mexico, the same one that he would refound in 1930 as the Peruvian Aprista Party.
