Pichwai with Krishna and Radha in the garden

Pichwai depicts Krishna and Radha in the forest setting of Vrindavan, with its mango, plantain and palm trees laden with fruit and alive with parrots, peacocks and several other birds – all set under a blue summer sky. The entire panel is bordered by a thin band with leaf and vine motifs.
