Pide is a flat leavened bread with toppings baked in a stone oven. Some sources state that Pide was inherited from Byzantines. Today Black Sea Region, north of Turkey, stands out in Turkish Cuisine with its Pide. This dish is very popular in all around Turkey like it used to be in the Ottoman Period.
