Pidhi (Stool)

This pidhi was commissioned recently by a family in Nawalgarh. The makers use different coloured ropes for the webbing to create patterns. The gundi (braided edges of the webbing) is a unique feature of vernacular furniture in Shekhawati among other regions of Rajasthan.
