The bougainvillea and petunias will grow well in your home. The oranges and mangoes will require some extra care. A plant shop sells a variety of indoor and outdoor, seasonal and year-round plants. Some are native, some foreign; some may bear fruit, some flowers; some may die immediately upon first contact with new soil. Some may require unreasonable amounts of water in an already water-scarce environment. As people build homes and take root, their relationships with the physical land they inhabit will leave a mark.
