Plastic Planet Red Fox

Calder Kanin's exhibit Plastic Planet tackles the omnipresence of plastic in today's world, which has incorporated itself into all bodies of living things. Through creating a whimsical menagerie of colorful animals made of plastic bags, Kanin's playfully rendered animals point suggest an ominous reality. The expression on the Fox's face is calculating and mischievous at the same time.
