Plastic Soban

A soban is a small portable table used in Korea, functioning as both a tray and a table. The size is perfect for presenting three to four dishes, a rice bowl, and a soup bowl on top. It is light enough to move easily and good for a table of drinks and snacks, too. Thus, a soban is useful in many ways. Ha Jihoon has shown an excellent ability to reinterpret this traditional furniture with various materials and techniques. Due to the nature of the material, a soban is durable and can be used comfortably outdoors. The palm-sized mini-soban is also beautiful.
