Plate 3, from Suite of Vases

A large vase with a wide, beaded rim. The upper half of the body has a smooth surface; the lower half, vertical ribbing, joined to a short narrow pedestal decorated with acanthus leaves and laurel. Three handles rise vertically from the bottom of the vase to curve in three-quarters of the distance to the rim.
