Gothenburg, Sweden

The Playsuit was made in the UK in the late 1960s or early 1970s. The fabric came from Wales and the print was made especially for Schubette. Pucci inspired patterns was very popular at the time which can be seen here. The garment was probably made in Schubette’s own factory which at the time was located in the East end of London, a small street called Davanent Street off Commercial Road EC1.
