A pocket watch in a steel case with brass winding crown, hand-painted porcelain dial face, with the stand, having filigree hands. Four circles on the face are for marking the months, day of the week, lunar phases and date of the month. The face has gold dots to mark the minutes. It has a hinged back. Marked "Swiss" on inside of the back and "Acier Garanti" which means guaranteed steel; also has engraved jumping deep or antelope
The watch is separated from the stand. Mrs. Ethel C. Dameron claims the watch was carried during the Civil War.
