A portrait of Sigismund III Vasa, below an inscription: "Sigismun. III. D. G. Rex Pol. Mold XXXVII. prox. hæres Regis Suæd.", visible traces of a blurred portrait of King Stefan Batory from a plate executed in 1576, a wind rose under the title cartouche with mermaids. On the back, an inscription in Latin: "Poloniae Regnum", "Fol.10, Ll" (on the right-hand side, continued on the left),"Bohemiæ". On the back side, a handwritten note: A rarity M (112)/ Valuable map, on SE: "DE Jode de 1578 (crossed out / 1593 2 edition de Jode Antwerp 1593 (crossed out) / 40 x 48 3/4 cms"
