This pear-shaped bottle has a long neck and a drooping body that swells at the belly. The mouth has an outward-rolled lip. The bottle rests on a foot which slightly undercuts the body. Two stylized floral designs were painted in underglaze cobalt blue onto the shoulder of the bottle, in juxtaposed positions. The bottle is coated with a densely crackled glaze. The surface is heavily stained and covered with oil residue. A cord made from plant fibre is tied around the neck for hanging the bottle on a wall. Coarse kiln grit adheres to the footrim and the base. This bottle once served as a container for oil.
