Portrait of a Woman

The woman wears a deep-necked purple dress trimmed with rich white lace, which contrasts sharply with the lacey black cape. Around her neck she has a black string from which hangs a pendant with gold and diamond vegetal motifs, to which a cross is attached, illustrating the character's faith. The safety chain for the pendant clock worn at the hip is made of gold. Both her hands are decorated with a gold ring and she also wears gold earrings with a reddish-brown tear-shaped stone in her ears, set in a decoration of cut-out plant motifs.
