Yelena Kolesova (1 August 1920 – 11 September 1942) was the commander of a partisan unit of the Soviet special forces during World War II. After dying in battle at successful German fortess attack in Vydritsa, Kolesova was posthumously awarded to the title Hero of the Soviet Union on 21 November, 1944.
