Portrait of Francesco Lojacono

Tomaselli was commissioned the painting for the collection of Famous Sicilians held at the City Library of Palermo and he took inspiration for the portrait of the renowned landscape painter from a photograph. Here, an elderly Lojacono is represented with a nature background of green branches against the sky hinting at his deep bond to nature whose study was the primary source of his art.
