Portrait of Hou Yifan, the 13th Women's World Chess Champion

Hou Yifan (born in 1994) is a Chinese chess grandmaster and professor at Shenzhen University. She is a four-time Women's World Chess Champion and the second highest rated female player of all time. A chess prodigy, she became the youngest female grandmaster at 14 and the youngest Women's World Champion at 16.
