Prithviraj Chauhan or Prithviraja III was a great Rajput emperor (ruled c. 1178–1192 CE). He ruled Sapadalaksha, the traditional Chahamana territory, in present-day north-western India. This painting depicts Prithviraj and Samyukta riding on horse.. The tail of the horse trails down vertically into a point.
