The miniature represents by the portrait of two children (hypothetically a boy and a girl) in a pose that makes us think these are brothers or in any case relatives. They are placed outdoor, considering the presence of the banister behind them. On the back of the work, a paper indicates that the miniature was exhibited in 1964 at the Torino Salon of Domestic Arts. It is also present the signature in cursive "Chasselat", maybe written by the art collector Pietro Accorsi, which shows the illuminator's name but it is still difficult to identify who he really was because of the large number of illuminators with the same name.
