Portraits

Painter Linas Kaziulionis presents a creation entitled “Portraits”. His massive 2017 piece “Mother of the Festival’ is still considered one of the favorites among Open Gallery visitors. In 2018, under the pseudonym of K ART 7, the artist has built on his appropriative style and, on the occasion of the centenary of Lithuanian independence, produced a series of portraits of 10 significant Lithuanian artistic and cultural figures right on the façade of the Loftas Art Factory. The portraits depict Jonas Mekas, Vytautas Kernagis, Jurgis Mačiūnas, Česlovas Milošas, Vydūnas, Clara Rockmore, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Eimuntas Nekrošius, Vitas Luckus and Arūnas Žebriūnas.
