A postcard depicting Mohini or the temptress. Printed in Germany for the Indian market.

Mohini is the only female avatar of the god Vishnu, known to be an enchantress who through her allure often leads lovers to their doom. She is known to have been key to the destruction of many demons throughout Hindu texts, famously Bhasmasura. Here she is depicted on a swing, in emulation of one of Raja Ravi Varma's most famous artworks.
