Prajnaparamita

The statue of Prajnaparamita (replica), from Candi Gumpung, Muara Jambi Complex Site. Prajnaparamita is the Goddess of Wisdom in Buddhism, and she also symbolizes exquisite knowledge. The goddess is depicted wearing a long cloth with a circular pattern filled with flower buds motifs. The edges of the cloth are decorated with a tumpal motif.
