President Kennedy Extends the National Cultural Center Act

Only a few months before his death, President Kennedy signed legislation to increase the number of Trustees and extend the fundraising deadline for the National Cultural Center Act. Behind the President are General Counsel Ralph Becker, Rep. Robert Jones, Rep. James Wright, Trustee James Buckley, Trustee Charlotte Reid, Chairman Roger Stevens, and Rep. Frank Thompson.
