Priests Offering Prayer in Govindaji Temple

Holi, the ancient Indian Festival of Colours is celebrated across the country in a variety of ways. The Spring festival of Yaoshang in Manipur begins after sunset in villages with the Yaoshang Mei thaba, or the symbolic burning of the Straw Hut. Devotees then celebrate the festival with prayer at the Govindaji Temple. Priests offer up prayers in the hall.
