Her Royal Highness Princess Tatiana of Hesse, seated in the Hall of the Heron Hunt, at Schloss Fasanerie, the baroque palace that is the family home of the Hesse family near Fulda, Germany. The space was designed by Landgrave Philipp (her father-in-law), for the sequence of eighteenth-century paintings by Tischbein, who painted Landgrave Friedrich II and his court flying the royal falcons. She wears an evening dress with a bodice with appliqued yellow paillettes in circular patterns, and a long yellow skirt.
