Procession looking towards the Arrábida Bridge

The first time the procession of the Festival of São Pedro da Afurada was held, it began at the parish church of Santa Marinha, at that time the Parish headquarters. The procession litters were transported in boats, along the River Douro below, to the landing pier (1908).
