Puahala. Poi bowl. This puahala has been carved from lā'au into a flat-bottomed bowl, cylindrical and even in general shape rounding into the base. Its diameter is smaller than its considered ceremonial height with thinner sides and a thicker base. There is a crack visible that runs along the rim. The puahala is matte in surface treatment. It is a rich reddish brown colour.
