There are multiple putti (a depiction of a nude male child in Renaissance art) along the concrete wall on the Grotto Terrace. The putti at the north stairway reflect the sections of the orchestras – woodwinds, strings, and percussion. The south stairway represents the four seasons (two shown in image) – Fall, Summer, Winter and Spring. The southern statues represent theater and architecture.
