Qingdao Scenery

Yandong was born in 1948 in Beijing. He graduated from secondary school attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1969. In 1981, he graduated from the Master's Degree in Mural Painting, Department of Special Arts, Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. He is currently a professor and master's supervisor in the Department of Painting, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University. He has held personal art exhibitions in France, the United States, Qingdao and Beijing. His representative works include Four Great Inventions, Glorious Culture with a Long History, Chinese Soul, Journey to the West and Chinese in America. He published The World on the Wall: On Modern Frescoes, Snowfall in Paris, etc.
